Our BETT side story!

Phew! We’re done! 4 great days of non-stop networking and demos at the BETT Show 2017 in London, UK. We are tired, but happy as we have properly launched our iSmart Home and iSmart Class products towards hundreds and thousands of schools that came to visit.

We got there one day early to set up the stand on Tuesday and it was quite challenging as we had been given the wrong dimensions for the stand and therefore we found we had way too much furniture!! Aaargh!! However, a bit of creativity always helps, and we managed somehow.

Wednesday was the first day of launch and all our team was eager to go. Teachers, heads of schools, psychologists and edtech professionals were curious to see what iSmart was all about. At a point we were doing 3 concurrent demonstrations to different groups, and we got stellar feedback and ideas.

Thursday and Friday were very busy days, and we also had our Italian agent Giuseppe who came over to give us a hand on the stand. All the time we were giving out traditional Maltese sweets to passers by, and everyone was happily munching away and trying out iSmart.

Our reading rulers giveaways were also a great attention grabber, as many people had never used one, and when they saw that we had also implemented one on the app, they wanted to hug us!

Saturday was our last day – a shorter one – but it gave us time to also look around the other exhibitors and start making alliances with companies from other countries that want also to represent iSmart, so watch this space! 🙂

Here are some photos from this wonderful experience!

Italy and Poland first to help children with learning difficulties thanks to iSmart

Interest in the new learning app that is being developed by a Maltese company has continued to shoot up over the last month with the signing up of the first two agents in Italy and Poland that will localise and distribute iSmart.
giuseppe copyItaly is being headed by Giuseppe Labita Consulenza & Formazione Srl from Palermo, Sicily ([email protected]) that has already started the translation and localization of the tool. Mr Labita is confident that within Italy such a learning aid will revolutionise how students study, and he is aiming to also work together with pedagogical experts and the Italian Dyslexia Association to reach as many students as possible.

Urszula Cioleszynska photoPoland will be in the hands of Urszula Ciołeszyńska from Opole, Southern Poland ([email protected]). Urszula has already started promotion of the tool with local schools and psychologists since she believes that the educational establishments have lots to gain by using iSmart. She is also planning a launch event later on this year for when iSmart will be ready in the Polish language.

Ms Angele Giuliano, CEO of iSmart, said that these first two agents are only the start of spreading iSmart to all European countries and beyond. Later on this month, the company will be attending the largest UK educational fair – BETT in London where they will be launching the Home and Class versions of the tool.

The road to launching iSmart

This is an important month for us, and as we are now all back from holidays filled with new year resolutions, we wanted to let you all know the plan for the big bang.

We are at the moment finalising the first 2 versions of iSmart Home and iSmart School. These are going to be able to be purchased online as from end of January, for the moment in English only on the different app stores.

In the meantime we have started translations in the first 2 languages – Polish and Italian, since we are also going to be signing up our first agents in these first 2 countries.

The actual formal launch will happen in London on the 25th January during the BETT trade fair for educational technology. We would like to invite everyone to visit our stand G82 and see a demo of our freshly launched iSmart.

Don’t forget to pre-register today if you want to be one of the first to learn about exciting special offers whilst getting our app.
